Our Story

ACASIA Group of Companies are youth-led start-up founded in 2019 by ambitious professionals of various industry backgrounds and expertise with experience delivering projects & services locally and internationally.

The company started with waste management business that year and over the years has built up its brand and capabilities into a sustainability venture of 30+ personnel.

At ACASIA, we believe at enabling organisations pivot into high performance through the provision of sustainable solutions and services to tackle their corporate and operational challenges; and to do this we anchored our capabilities around ESG/Sustainability Transformation, Climate Venture & Innovation, Circular Economy, and Low Carbon Economy.

Akasia Resources was founded with first office located in Penang. Attained our first major projects.

DEC, 2019


Our branch office was set-up in Kuala Lumpur to support our business activities in Central and Southern Peninsular, Malaysia.

JUN, 2020


We established our network of companies; associated companies to support the delivery of our services.

AUG, 2020


We registered our subsidiary company for East Malaysia operations in Miri, Sarawak.

8 years of professional experiences as industry consultant and project manager delivering > 50 projects of value > MYR 20mil locally & internationally e.g. Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Australia, Thailand, Korea, Indonesia, Brunei, EUs, America, etc.

Andrew’s expertise include Corporate & Operational Sustainability, Organisational Strategy, Digital Transformation, wide range of EHS disciplines, Green Technologies, Policy Development, etc.

Hakimi is a registered member of Board of Engineers (BEM) with expertise in Waste Management, Environmental Assessment & Study, Remediation Design, ranges of EHS disciplines, Supply Chain Management, Operation & Process, Manpower & Talent Solutions.

Harold is a registered member of Board of Engineers (BEM) and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) among others with expertise in EPCC, Drilling Operation, Process Design, Data Acquisition, Electrical & Electronic, Construction Process, Agriculture Innovation, and Securities & Portfolio Management.
